The answer is simple: this website sets no cookies of its own. It writes four small items to your browser’s storage, listed below; none is sent anywhere.

That is the complete list. All four stay on your device and are never sent to us.
02What this website does not set
No cookies at all are set by this website: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no session-recording tools, and no identifiers that follow you across sites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
03YouTube, after you play the film
The homepage film loads from www.youtube-nocookie.com only when you click play; until then, nothing on this page talks to YouTube. After that, YouTube may store items in your browser within its own domains, as described in Google’s cookie policy. This website cannot read or receive those items.
04How to clear browser storage
Closing the tab removes the session-storage item. To clear local storage, use your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy, then “Clear browsing data” or “Site settings”, choosing treels.io or “cookies and site data”. Clearing storage affects nothing else; the opening animation simply plays once more.
In most desktop browsers you can also delete the items by hand in the developer tools (F12), under the Application or Storage panel.
05Changes
If the website starts writing anything else to your browser, this table updates first, with a new version and effective date at the top of this page. This version took effect on 28 August 2026.
