This page is short because the answer is simple. This website sets no cookies of its own. It writes two small items to your browser’s storage, listed below, and neither of them is sent anywhere.

That is the complete list. Both items stay on your device and are never sent to us.
02What this website does not set
No cookies at all are set by this website: no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no tracking pixels, no session-recording tools, and no identifiers that follow you across sites. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask your consent for.
03YouTube, after you play the film
The homepage film is loaded from www.youtube-nocookie.com only when you click play. Until then, nothing on this page talks to YouTube. Once you play it, YouTube may store items in your browser within its own domains, as described in Google’s cookie policy. This website cannot read those items and does not receive them.
04How to clear browser storage
Closing the tab removes the session-storage item. To clear local storage, use your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy, then “Clear browsing data” or “Site settings”, choosing treels.io or “cookies and site data”. Clearing storage does not affect anything else about the website; the opening animation will simply play once more.
In most desktop browsers you can also open the developer tools (F12), go to the Application or Storage panel, and delete the items by hand.
05Changes
If the website starts writing anything else to your browser, this table will be updated first and the version and effective date at the top of this page will change. This version took effect on 23 August 2026.
