Publishing on Treels writes a permanent record of who made your work and when to a public blockchain: thousands of independent computers, not just our servers, so nobody can quietly edit it, including us. If your authorship is ever questioned, the proof is a timestamped record anyone can check.
Nobody. The split is written into a smart contract before your work earns anything, and it executes on its own: no meeting, no review, no discretion. Once set, the terms cannot be changed after the fact, by us or anyone else.
Not on work already published: its terms are fixed at publication, for the life of that work. Any change applies to new work only, and you will see it before you publish.
Ownership and authorship records live on a public ledger, not in our database, so they survive independently of us. Not comforting to have to say, but true, and a real difference from a platform where your account is your only proof of anything.
